We went to see one of the most famous sites in Bangkok today, Wat Arun. It’s over 80m tall making it one of the tallest buildings in Thailand before modern skyscrapers. It was built in the 17th century.
Our hotel is near The Grand Palace, built in 1782. It houses the sacred emerald Buddha, which is the most important religious icon in Thailand.
Tomorrow we leave Bangkok and head to the coast city of Pattaya, get us to the beach!
