After our stressful day cooking we rewarded ourselves slightly too much with the Leo’s, what do they say… when in Chiang Mai!
We got a Bolt (Uber) to a plane cafe about 45 minutes outside of Chiang Mai, and the driver… let’s just say was the first person since leaving Heathrow we wouldn’t buy a beer for! The cafe was very cool and is inside an old original Airbus A330.

Afterwards we went to a place called Dantewada Land of Angels which is a man made waterfall park. It is surrounded by botanical gardens and has animals such as goats and rabbits that you can feed.

This morning we went to the coconut market. Surprising it’s based inside a coconut farm! It was very picturesque and we treated ourselves to a bucket of watermelon smoothie for 60 baht (£1.36).

Then we went to an arty market called Baan Kang Wat. It has lots of coffee shops, places to buy clothes and lots of arts and crafts. A very hippie vibe so we didn’t stay too long. It even made us feel like we might need to get a job!

It’s our last night in a hotel here and tomorrow we move just down the road to an Airbnb for 3 nights where we are looking forward to cooking!
Tonight we are going Chiang Mai’s Night Bazaar market to see what culinary delights they have!
